One need led to another.
From a gap in poultry and egg supply to a broader role in Ethiopia’s food system.

Starting with poultry.
ECO FABRIC’s story began with a clear need: Ethiopia’s poultry and egg supply gap. Poultry production became our starting point, with a focus on supplying farmers with healthy, high-quality chicks and developing egg production.
Listening to the next challenge.
Working with farmers revealed another major constraint: feed. Productive animals need nutritious feed, and poultry production alone could not address that need. This led ECO FABRIC to expand into animal-feed manufacturing.
Growing our reach.
Today, our feed business serves fish, poultry and cattle production. We have supplied fish feed in Bahir Dar and Hawassa, important fish-producing areas around Lake Tana and Lake Hawassa, and reached approximately 100 tonnes of fish-feed production.
